Nice title, right? So my wife and daughter are laying in bed watching “The Masked Singer” and I have to get this off my chest.
I could care less about the lives of celebrities.
I Would Never Guess Anyone
According to some people I know, only B or C list celebrities appear on the show. I wouldn’t know. I can barely name a dozen celebrities from the last two decades.
There’s no reason for me to care about celebrities. They use their positions of power to push their own agendas OR they push the agendas of others in order to exploit people.
Celebrities are just like any other person to me. They have a little more power than others in the social sphere, but otherwise are nothing special.
The Masked Singer relies on people knowing seemingly meaningless facts about celebrities in order to guess their identities.
Then again, some famous people are only famous for constantly changing their identities. Or they change their identities after they become celebrities. Either way, guessing their identities is seemingly meaningless.
Don’t get me wrong – I truly believe there are some decent people in power and in the celebrity sphere. But I don’t think that’s the majority. I also don’t wish any harm on them. I just hope they understand their temporary significance before it ensnares them.
